Choirnevale

CHOIRNEVALE is a concert collaboration where Afenginn performs together with a choir to create artistic exchange between the band and local choirs and to let people experience this exchange in concerts.

The basic idea is to put together an instrumental folk ensemble with a local choir and make them work together to create a fantastic concert suite, including choreography, visuals and light. The ensemble Afenginn is one of the heavy players in the European field of contemporary folk music and has initiated this project in order to create a new unique concert. The project will expand the horizons for each ensemble and will create new inspirations, networks and not least: give audiences an opportunity to hear something unique.

Choirnevale has been performed at several occasions in Denmark, Germany and Faroe Islands.
